I honestly can't believe how soon Christmas is approaching. Whilst placing the last of the Christmas gift orders (hopefully) tonight we actually had to go for express delivery to make sure the items would be here in time. I love receiving my Christmas Stocking full of little gifts come Christmas morning, my mum always picks the best things no matter how old we get.

This year the whole beauty cracker trend seems to have taken off yet again, I've picked out both the St. Tropez Instant Cracker and Evelyn & Crabtree Hand Cream Crackers to put in my Mum's own stocking as they're so affordable and currently on 3 for 2 in Boots. I also made the offer up with the Champney's Heavenly Days purse, an adorable purse & calming balm. Whilst food shopping I spotted a whole host of Christmas Art Therapy/Adult Colouring Books, I settled on the Relax with Art Pocket Collection as part of someones gift. The pictures aren't as intricate as others stocked & I loved the handy handbag size book. Asos kindly sent me over some early Christmas gifts with the re-launch of Access All ASOS. The fluffy keyring would make a lovely stocking filler, I couldn't find the exact one today though there are plenty of choices between ASOS own brand & Ted Baker. They also included an item from Jim Chapman's Stationary line - James & Friends.

Of course it wouldn't be Christmas without a little Lush. My top picks from their festive line this year would be their Fairy Dust dusting powder, which I've reviewed on LW. Star Dust bath bomb may look a little understated but in the water this bath bomb packs a surprise. Celebrate body lotion smells absolutely incredible and will guarantee to get you in the party mood, not to mention The Magic of Christmas bubble bar wand.

Leaving the drugstore, Urban Decay are a brand to make any stocking sparkle. Their Naked Basic palettes are the perfect size for slipping into a Christmas Stocking & a product everyones makeup collection needs. I've also trialled a whole host of Prep Spray's recently, with the B6 Vitamin Infused Complexion Spray from Urban Decay being my most favoured. Brands to look out for are Artistry where I can't recommend their Indigo Skies Collection Signature Colour Lipstick and Sheer Lipsticks enough. All shades are formulated with plush pigments and condition the lips. Pair with their automatic lip liners for the perfect Christmas lip. A pricier item, though an item that will last you forever comes from Eloquence, a natural skincare brand who I'm currently testing out. Their Nourishing Treatment Oil has endless amounts of uses.

Back to affordable makeup, Makeup Revolution deserve a mention with their latest addition Pink Fizz - taking place in the I heart makeup line of chocolate inspired palettes. Freedom also recently launched palettes with Glam Dolls, whilst Fairy Doll that I have here isn't really to my usual taste in makeup it would be perfect for someone else, plus they have a tonne of more neutral palettes.

Label M are currently running an offer where when you buy 2 products you receive a free limited edition scarf which comes packaged in a beautiful box. We also can't forget the standard chocolates, sweets and cute socks - along with face wipes, don't shoot me but sometimes a girl just needs some, especially if you've a whole host of new makeup to swatch. Oh and I've just picked up the Venus Snap, portable razor to shove in my Mum's after she noticed them in Boots. It may be a weird filler but it's one she'll be happy to see. Lucy x
